Steven Jones
Owner – STS Gardening Services
Steven owns and operates STS Gardening Services, providing professional garden maintenance, hedge trimming, lawn care, garden tidy-ups, garden clearances and green waste removal throughout Chester and the surrounding areas.
Michael Russell
Owner – Handbridge Garden Care
Mike is a Chester based gardener hands on garden care and practical outdoor improvement work. His focus is general garden maintenance, planting, design and contractor referral, seasonal tidy ups, with ongoing care, with his light, natural approach that helps outdoor spaces stay healthy, usable, and enjoyable.
Alongside gardening, he also takes on practical timber based outdoor projects including planters, decking, garden shelters, retaining structures, ramps, and other functional builds where a straightforward, solid approach is needed.
During the COVID 19 pandemic five years ago, he founded and continue to spearhead Arches Community Gardens. What began as a local effort to create shared green space during a difficult time has grown into an ongoing community project built through crowdfunding, volunteering, and local support, including backing from Chester Zoo and contributions from local figures such as Razia Daniels.
His work is rooted in creating practical, functional outdoor spaces whether maintaining private gardens, building useful structures, or helping community spaces grow and evolve.
Lisa Woodhead
Owner – LW Garden Care
Lisa owns and operates LW Garden Care, an independent gardening business with over 17 years of experience in the industry.
With a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, Lisa specialises in garden maintenance, hedge trimming, topiary shaping and providing expert gardening advice tailored to each customer's needs.
Lisa has built up a wealth of knowledge over the years and has a great eye for detail, taking pride in delivering high-quality work and helping gardens look their best.
If you meet Lisa, you'll usually find her with her lovely companion Tink close by. Tink is a big part of Lisa's day-to-day gardening life and is often never far away while she works.
Lisa brings experience, care and a friendly approach to every garden she looks after.
Working Together
Although we each run our own separate gardening businesses, we work together on larger jobs when needed. This allows us to take on extensive garden clearances, rental property tidy-ups, commercial grounds maintenance and larger hedge trimming projects, while giving every customer the reliable, friendly and professional service they expect.
